New "In Colors" coming!

With the 2009-2010 SU! catalog coming in July I wanted to share one of the new colors "rich raszzleberry"; I love this color and can see it used a lot in future cards. I also used one of the new hostess stamp sets - Christmas Punch for my card. This card has a bookmark as the main focal point. I love it because now when you give your card to someone they can use it long after the card is in a stack somewhere. And the best part is they will remember you!!!
Stay tuned for more exciting ideas from the new catalog. I hope you are having a great weekend!
Blessings,
Barb

Swap Card

Here is my swap card for May. The challenge was to do a folded card. I chose the "criss cross" card. It is the first time I did this kind of card and I must say I liked it and I like how it turned out too. Here's the link if you want some resources for this and other cards: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/. I used the "Walk in the Park" Designer paperfrom the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I hope you are having a great day!

Blessings!

Very Versatile

It has been a little while since I posted anything but I have been stamping and have a great time. Here is a card I made for my local "swap" using the stamp set "Very Versatile" in the 2009 Occassions mini catalog. I love the color basic gray and baja blue together and the new DSP paper Walk in the Park is really fun too!!! On the inside of the card I used the Top Note Bigz die for the Big Shot (don't you just love the Big Shot; I do). I also ran the card front through the Big Shot using the texturz plates; these are new in the Spring 2009 catalog on page 203. There are so many new choices to add texture to your cardstock. I hope you enoy this card as much as I did. Blessings! Barb

Fun and Fast Notes

Here is a quick "Fast and Fun" note card. I used the stamp set Fast & Fun Notes on Taken with Teal card stock. This set is really quick way to make a notecard at the last minute. I love this set. I also love the scallop edge punch so I used it a lot on this card.

Card for SU! Party

I am so excited about my debut as a SU! demonstrator the party is Thursday. I really love the new SU! Summer Catalog. One of my favorite stamp sets is the Sweet Stems and Thoughts and Prayers. These two sets inspired me to make this card and I think my friends are going to love it too, this is the "make and take" for the party.
It is also Sale-a-Bration time with SU! I love the ribbon bundle and the paper in the catalog so I used that as my inspiration. You can't see the paper that good in this picture but in person the "Elegant Eggplant" paper is gorgous.
I can't wait for Thursday, we are going to have so much fun!!!
Recipe: CS elegant eggplant, DSP Delicate Dotts (SAB); Ribbon-Ribbon bundle (SAB); Stamps- Sweet Stems, Thought & Prayers; Ink-black, elegant eggplant, certainly celery, versa marker; Eyelet border stamp.
